On April 13, New York State announced it is requesting $13.52 billion over five years to fund a new amendment to its 1115 Waiver Demonstration that addresses health disparities and systemic healthcare delivery issues highlighted and intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic. During this webinar, speakers provided an overview and analysis of the contents of the state waiver amendment request, including Health Equity Regional Organizations (HEROs), Social Determinant of Health Networks (SDHNs), and Value Based Payment Incentive Payments.
