Warren J. Brodine partners with clients to deliver optimal financial, patient and community outcomes. He supports governments, communities, federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), hospitals, intermediate risk bearing organizations, and payers  through strategic innovation while adding to system sustainability and long-term viability.

Warren has over 30 years of experience in the safety net healthcare arena, initially at the intersection of policy and the delivery of care to rural populations and subsequently guiding FQHCs and affiliated groups in their care design and individual, community, and system impact. In addition, he has worked with associations and consortia that include a variety of provider organizations to coordinate and collaborate on care delivery, care financing, and performance. At ºìÁì½í¹Ï±¨ he leads major project development, large-scale contracts, and consults with project teams on efficacy and project quality. He also conceives and guides major project development, catalyzing innovation within ºìÁì½í¹Ï±¨ to design systems and processes for clients across the nation.

Warren led one of the founding FQHCs of the Medical Home Network (MHN) in Chicago. He has been an architect of their replication in Los Angeles and expanded participation to three health centers in the MHN’s Medicare shared savings program and accountable care organization program. He has been a national voice for payment reform while focusing on the needs of patients and communities and striving to assure communities are involved in the process.

Warren actively participated with the Subcommittee on Health Center Finance of the National Association of Community Health Centers for more than 20 years. He served as a member of the California Primary Care Association Alternative Payment Methodologies Steering Committee and as chair of various committees and task forces related to managed care. Warren held leadership positions on the board of Health Care LA, the largest safety-net independent practice association in the nation with more than 700,000 lives for six years, including serving as treasurer during a time of financial crisis and subsequently board chair.

Warren earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, Bloomington and studied at Université Laval, Québec City, Canada. He is fluent in French and German.
