Tekoah Hopson is a strategic operations and continuous improvement professional with more than a decade of experience advancing organizational performance in the healthcare sector. Specializing in strategic leadership, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and operational efficiencies, she excels at guiding complex integrations, optimizing processes, and delivering measurable results. 

Before joining ºìÁì½í¹Ï±¨ (ºìÁì½í¹Ï±¨), Tekoah served as an executive consultative coach and continuous improvement lead at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). In this role, Tekoah aligned executives and stakeholders on value-stream opportunities, driving a 57% improvement in quality within 90 days by assessing deliverables, addressing inefficiencies, and standardizing processes. She also coached executive teams through individual and group sessions, delivering increased competency and supporting organizational growth objectives. 

Tekoah has demonstrated success driving continuous improvement programs. With CMS, she facilitated Kaizen workshops and implemented Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes, resulting in a 40% increase in operational productivity and a 20% improvement in turnaround time. Monitoring the success of the improvement programs, she led performance audits and corrective actions, averting $2.6 million in risks while enhancing program effectiveness. 

Beyond her strategic leadership and organizational transformation expertise, Tekoah has experience delivering operational efficiency improvements as well. As CMS’ accountant and funding specialist, Tekoah managed Michigan’s Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) budgets, overseeing $15.2 billion in state funds while recovering $140 million in federal dollars through audit assessments. Through these efforts, she developed extensive expertise in fiscal management, compliance, and risk mitigation, including initiatives that reduced client costs by more than $300,000. 

Tekoah earned a Master of Business Administration in business and management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in marketing from the University of Wisconsin. Tekoah is a certified executive coach and has certifications in change management, training, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt methodologies. 

Outside of work, Tekoah enjoys balancing relaxation with adventure, frequently traveling across the Midwest and East Coast to cheer on her daughters in travel volleyball tournaments while making time for yoga and reading on the beach.
